What Should I Bring When Picking Up a Firearm?
Wait until ISFA-4 Defense Supply Company confirms that your firearm is ready before coming to the store. A carrier delivery notice only confirms that a package arrived; our team still needs time to receive, inspect, and enter the firearm into our records.
Bring these items
A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID. It should show your full legal name, date of birth, photograph, and current residential address.
Supplemental government-issued address documentation if needed. If your photo ID does not show your current residential address, bring an additional valid government-issued document showing that address, such as a vehicle registration, tax record, or voter identification document. A lease, utility bill, bank statement, or other privately issued document generally cannot serve as the required federal supplemental identification.
Your ISFA-4 Defense Supply Company pickup notification or order information. This helps our team locate the correct firearm and transaction.
Any remaining payment or applicable transfer fee. The amount depends on the transaction and whether the firearm was purchased from ISFA-4 Defense Supply Company or another seller.
Military documents when applicable. An active-duty service member using an out-of-state identification document may need a military ID and permanent-change-of-station orders establishing residency.
The actual buyer must appear in person and complete the required paperwork. Another person cannot complete the transfer on the buyer’s behalf.
